Pam and I met at an accepted students day at our high school, Pingry. We both came from small Catholic middle schools. Mine was St. Vincent de Paul in Stirling while she attended St. James in Basking Ridge. Looking back at some of the earlier photos we have together to pull into this post, I am reminded that Facebook came about when we were sophomores in high school. We used social media so wildly back in the day - it was a different time!

We were a couple of real cool cats in high school. HA! No, we most definitely were not. But we were always ourselves & our souls knew we were meant to be friends.
Pam played basketball with me for a year, but then found he space in the theater. I absolutely LOVED being a big supporter of our drama program. I would help build sets when I could before sports practices and always saw all of our school shows. Les Miserables was one of my favorites!

Pam & I had the opportunity to travel to Greece with our high school as an English trip for one of our spring breaks. I fell in love with the country (& finally made it back there with my husband in 2024!) and Pam and I got to spend some quality time together outside of school. Her sister Diane was also along for the trip! It was a solid crew to explore with <3

Pam & I went to different colleges, but she couldn't get rid of me that easily. When I decided to transfer from Vassar to College of Charleston, I visited Pam during my semester off at Gettysburg College. We explored the battlefield in a go-kart like vehicle and played True American with her college crew (& Chester the rat!). Pam has always been a joy to be friends with.
I struggled to find pictures from that long ago (wow - we are old), but I did find this photo above of me planting a smooch on Pam while she clearly was not ready. This was at Gettsyburg!
CUT TO - Pam's bachelorette night out in NYC. This was such a fun group of ladies & I really enjoyed getting to know them. I knew the wedding was going to be an incredible time after we all got to celebrate our Pam together.

Peep our cutie bride bringing her balloons along on the Subway as we adventured through NYC.
Pam & Aaron got married in Brooklyn at the end of August.

Duncan & I secured our place as true friends by being the people who left the most voice messages on the telephone guest book that was at the wedding. Not all of them were really understandable, but the love could still be felt!
