I had that honor of officiating my brother's wedding at our parents beautiful Florida home in January 2021.

2026 Update: Wow - It's been a minute, huh?!

Life does tend to get in the way sometimes and the past few years have been so busy for me and also Jon and Jana! They now have a rambunctious four year old, Maks, two beautiful twin girls, Eva & Nia (1.5 years old & identical).

This couple has needed to do things a bit differently, as they got married during COVID and wanted to start a family relatively quickly. There were also some additional precautions that the group who attended needed to follow. Those of us coming from outside of Florida all stayed in an Airbnb for the week ahead of the wedding, quarantining ourselves together before ensuring we all had negative tests for COVID for the big day.

Dr. Fauci did make an appearance too, in the form of a life-size cut out. While he wasn't included in that post reception dip in the pool (below), he did join the squad for a swim the following day. Unfortunately, he did NOT survive...

The day after the wedding, Jon & Jana had rented an entire yacht to take the small group in attendance out for a day in Miami. It was quite the beautiful sunset to end the journey.

Can't help myself but share a photo of the family currently (see below). We just saw them for Christmas 2025 & the kids are getting so big! Jana's mother, Ozrenka, was with us for the the holiday too.
