Corinne(Cori) & Joe - Bedminster, NJ

Cori & I met in high school. We played on the same AAU basketball team, Valley, but didn't go to the same high schools. I was at Pingry and Cori was at Bernards High. We actually played each other a few times in our high school careers and all of our teammates were confused when Cori & I would hug before the game and then really play hard against each other on the floor.

We went on numerous adventures outside of basketball too. The photo on the left is from one 4th of July where Cori and her folks came to my family's lake house in upstate New York. The boat that we are standing on was driven onto the point (land) by a drunken idiot who was leaving the town dive bar, Little Sodus Inn. We actually heard the crash when it happened the night before and headed over to investigate in the morning, since the land the boat ended up on belonged to my cousins at the time.

Suffice to say, there were loads of Coors Light cans strewn in the bottom of the boat and we were impressed that it made it fully onto the land mass. Dude must have been driving quite fast to accomplish that.

Bridesmaids at MY wedding!

A few of our more recent adventures, a total eclipse at the lake and my own wedding in Maine in 2024!

We had a Tea Party bridal shower for Cori at her sister-in-law's house. It was such a beautiful day to celebrate our girl!

We all dressed in our best attire and made gorgeous flower bouquets from wild flowers grown in Devon's garden.

Cori's Bachelorette was up in the Poconos. We did some mini golfing, went to one of Guy Fieri's restaurants, took a train ride to peep some leaves and dressed up like Cori's fiance, Joe.

The wedding day was in October at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club, in Bedminster.
