This was the first wedding that I was asked to be in! Jacquelyn and I met while she and I were both living in Florida for a bit. Where did we met, you ask? Well, we met at the gym, of course, since we are both gym rats who love fitness and everything active. She was actually my personal trainer before she was my friend. I still think that there was just a point where she stopped charging me for our sessions because we would just work out alongside each other.

I was lucky enough to witness the reunion of my sweet friend and her now husband, Alex. They had somewhat of a history, but never really got together for serious when they were younger. I was around while their love began to blossom and Jacquelyn kept me updated once I moved away to finish up college.
The day she got engaged, she sent me a Snapchat of a an engagement ring on her finger with no words. I immediately called her and SCREAMED! I was beyond excited that these two were able to come back to each other and move forward with their lives.

I wasn't as involved in this wedding as I would have liked to be, but I was also the only far away bridesmaid. The bachelorette party and bridal shower both took place in Minneapolis, MN and I was living in Charleston, SC while I was in college. This trip was my first time to Minnesota and I was surprised to find that the city was really fun! We were there in the summer and the weather was fanatastic. We rented a pedi-pub, which for those of you who don't know, is a mobile bar that the riders power with bicycle pedals. What a fun way to see a new city while also being active!

After a day full of exploring, we hit the town! I, in true Vicky fashion, even met a puppy while we were heading out for dancing. He bit me on the nose, but I still love him.

The wedding, however, was in October. Living in SC had made me weak to the cold and while the rest of the wedding party was happy with mid - 40s weather that we had, I have to say that I was quite chilly. But I wouldn't let a little chill stop me from absolutely loving this wonderous day. Jaqcuelyn was such a GORGEOUS bride!! We danced the night away and had an absolute blast.

My girl is now back in FL and I am actually going to get to see her again very soon! <3
